Potts & Pans will be providing an entertaining and educational event while showcasing the many facets of the steel pan (also commonly called the steel drum). Along with displaying the versatility of the instrument by playing musical genres that range from classical to calypso and jazz to pop, Potts & Pans will be providing information about the evolution of the instrument. Matt Potts is one of only a handful of qualified steel pan tuners within the USA and will be sharing not only the rich history of the instrument but also the complex process of building and tuning them.
