Seven years have passed since Bear was sent to prison for robbery and murder. The day of the robbery was his daughter Alicia's first birthday and his ex-wife Natalia has never forgiven him. Now paroled, Bear thinks he might be able to start fresh - but Natalia lives with Sergio, and Alicia barely remembers her father at all.
