Need help with math homework? How about English, science or social studies? You can get free one-to-one help from a certified tutor, in English or Spanish, through the Tutor.com Learning Suite on our web site, from 2–9 p.m. every day. Everyone from kindergarten to adults can use it, because it now includes assistance with college courses, the citizenship test, GED prep, proofing your writing and resume reviews. When a live tutor is not available, you can use their StudyCenter which has thousands of worksheets, tutorials and study guides in a variety of subjects. You can link to it from the Kids' page, Teen page and on the Jobs and Careers page. An A.H. library card is required.

If your kids need some extra help with homework or test prep as the school year winds down, try the tutoring service on the Library's website. It is available on our Homework page for grades K and up. There's help in math, social studies, science and English. For math problems, the tutors even use an interactive white board to communicate with their students.
 
Kids who have used the Tutor.com tutoring service say that it helped them improve their grades and made them more confident about their school work. Their comments include, "Amazing," "Excellent," "The tutors always help me complete my assignments."
