The Library subscribes to 990 different magazines, newspapers and newsletters. Complete listing.

Many current issues of magazines and newspapers are in the News Stand near the café on the first floor. Current issues of some technical and professional magazines and quarterlies can be found in the Shackley Room on the second floor.

- Back issues are also located in the Shackley Room. They can be checked out for one week and renewed twice.
- You can reserve issues of magazines.
- In the Shackley Room you can check out all of your library items except video games.

New at the Newsstand

Bark

Magazine CoverBark magazine's motto is "dog is my co-pilot." This colorful publication focuses on the human-canine bond, with feature articles on health, behavior, art, literature, travel, recreation and social issues. Cuisine at Home

An ad-free cooking magazine, Cuisine at Home features step-by-step photopraphs for recipe techniques. Every bimonthly issue features tips and techniques and a Q and A from readers. Most recipes call for easy-to-find ingredients and are geared toward the everyday home cook.

Italian Tribune

Italian Tribune calls itself "the premier Italian American weekly newspaper since 1931." It publishes articles focusing on current events and happenings of interest to the Italian American community. It combines features typically found in a hometown weekly with the most popular features of major newspapers or magazines.

Signature Kitchens & Baths

Signature Kitchens & Baths supplies "ideas from today's top designers." This quarterly magazine features color photos of professionally designed kitchens and baths. Its goal is to present readers with custom design ideas featuring new products that can assist them with their own design projects.

Art Journaling

A semiannual publication, Art Journaling showcases artists' own journals. Techniques of capturing emotions are shown in illustrations and text. Stamping, collage art, sketching and painting are included with detailed photos and commentary that can inspire and instruct.

Natural Home

Natural Home magazine's subtitle is "living wisely: living well." It is a bi-monthly which features articles on creating sustainable, healthy homes. Tips on finding the latest green products and services are provided. Photos and text describe natural ways to decorate a home along with practical information and advice on making your home healthy.

Subtitled "the joy of family living and learning," Parent and Child magazine bridges a child's school learning experiences with his/her learning life at home. The magazine has an advisory board which includes national early childhood experts. Short, informative articles cover learning and health issues, behavioral and developmental information, and suggested home activities.

Newsmax

Newsmax magazine describes itself as the nation's "largest independent monthly with a conservative perspective." It covers politics, finance, health and more.

Veranda

Veranda is a decorating magazine illustrated with color photographs of interiors, gardens, table settings and flower arrangements. Articles about the decorative arts, books, collectibles, luxury goods, unusual travel destinations, art exhibits, architects and furnishings round out the magazine's offerings.
