Your username is used to login to the site so that you can access your account information. It will also be displayed on the website if you write a review or make comments when you are logged in.  The user name you choose should be something that you can easily remember:

  • your first name and last initial

Username restrictions:
  • Your username must be unique - if it's already take try adding a number before or after the username
The system will let you know if a username is already taken - a red box will appear around the user name field and an error message appears on the screen.
  • Some punctuation restrictions
Spaces are allowed; punctuation (except for periods, hyphens and underscores) is not allowed.

When creating your password, use one that is easy for you to remember. The system will tell you whether your password security level is considered to be high, medium or low.  These messages are informational only.

The most secure password
  • has more than 6 characters
  • contains both upper and lower case letters
  • contains numbers
  • contains punctuation
The system will accept a password that has a "low" strength.
  • You are asked to type your password again in the confirm field, for validation.  The system will not let you continue with account creation or modification if the passwords do not match.
