Bring the family to Astronomy Night and celebrate the International Year of Astronomy with us. We'll unveil two very large photos of our universe recently taken by NASA’s Great Observatories. Jim Kovac, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Labs Solar System Ambassador, will give a presentation, “The Universe in Images,” showing photos of galaxies, nebulas and stars previously made by the Hubble, Spitzer and Chandra Space Telescopes. We’ll end the evening by gazing through some powerful telescopes set up by members of the Northwest Suburban Astronomers Club. There's no registration required.
