This fast-paced class is for those who have learned the basics of using the Internet and would like to sharpen their skills for finding information online. You'll use several popular search engines such as Google to find websites that suit your interests.
Prerequisites: You must be able to use the mouse and have some previous experience using the Web in order to attend this class.
Finding Articles Online

How to Download Audiobooks and eBooks

Do you want to use the Library's downloadable collection of audiobooks and eBooks? In this class, you will learn how to download an audiobook or an eBook to your home computer. We will also demonstrate the basics of downloading an item from your computer to a device such as an iPod or Sony Reader.
Prerequisites: Basic mouse and keyboarding skills as well as the ability to navigate the Web using a browser. Check in at the Welcome Desk at least ten minutes before the class is scheduled to start.
