Voter Registration

Register to vote at the Info Desk any time the library is open. Registrations are not taken in the 28 days before an election.
 
To register, you must be:
  • A U.S. citizen
  • At least 18 years of age
  • A resident of the precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day
 
Please bring two forms of identification, with at least one showing your current residence address.
 

Proctoring Service

A proctoring service is available by appointment for AHML cardholders only. There is no charge for this service. Appointments are available 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday. For proctoring service, contact Debbie Halpin in the Business Office at 847-506-2611.

Small Electronics Recycling

All donated items are tax deductible. Forms will be on the bright blue bin near the Checkout Desk.
 
Accepted Items include:
  • Cell Phones
  • Laptops and eReaders
  • Inkjet Cartridges
  • MP3 Players
  • Digital Cameras
  • Handheld Games
  • GPS Devices and Radar Detectors
  • Graphing Calculators
  • Gold, Silver, and Platinum
 
Appliances, computer monitors/towers, printers are not accepted.
