The library offers a number of public services for Arlington Heights residents.
Notary Public Service
Voter Registration
You may register to vote at the Reception Desk on the second level any time the Library is open. Registrations are not taken in the 28 days before an election. To register, you must be:
- A U.S. citizen
- At least 18 years of age
- A resident of the precinct at least 30 days prior to Election Day
- Please bring two forms of identification (with at least one showing your current residence address) with you when you come to register

Proctoring Service
A proctoring service is available by appointment for Arlington Heights Memorial Library cardholders only. There is no charge for this service. Appointments are avilable 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday. For proctoring service, contact Debbie Halpin, in the Library’s Business Office, 847-506-2611.
