Ars Viva and the Music Institute of Chicago are pleased to introduce Music for Life - a family music experience. Drawing on an interdisciplinary curriculum that includes drama, musical creation, creative movement, storytelling, and visual arts, Music for Life’s philosophy is that music is best understood through experience as well as context. After listening to an excerpt from Beethoven’s 6th Symphony, children will be led in an exploration of the music they just heard. For school-age children and their families.
