If the Library parking lot is full, you can park for free in commuter lot S across from the Library on Vail St. after 12 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends.

For the past 20 years, the library has set aside the month of May for displaying student artwork from all nine District 25 schools both in the gallery area and display cases on the first floor. The works highlight the art units and artistic techniques that students have learned throughout the current school year. Children enjoy bringing their families to the library to view their masterpiece and those of their classmates. We invite you to stop by this month and see the students’ accomplishments.

Beginning February 28, the drive-up window will be more convenient than ever. It will be open at 7 a.m., Monday–Friday, so you can stop by before work, before school, before starting the rest of your busy day.

The Library's drive-up window is now open Monday–Friday, beginning at 8 a.m., so you can pick things up before you go to work.
The drive-up window can also save you time throughout the day. Use your computer and the drive-up window to get what you need. Go online and reserve your books, movies and music. When they are ready, we'll email you, and you can pick them up at the drive-up window located in the underground parking lot. If you need to drop off materials, there's a book drop right next to it - perfect for a quick stop while out running your errands.

Dryden School's "World of Work" program had fifth-grade students TJ and Kevin working at our drive-up window and Jessica and Colette shelving books in Kids' World. AHML was one of 26 AH locations welcoming students to get "hands on" work experience in their community.
