Event Description

Note: There is no lottery for this session. Registrations will be confirmed as they come in beginning at 9 a.m. February 2.

Did you know that our neighboring churches in Arlington Heights become PADS sites during the cold season? They provide meals and shelter for individuals at risk and experiencing homelessness. We invite you to join us in supporting this vital community effort.

Come to our Makerplace Kitchen and work alongside library staff and fellow neighbors to prepare nourishing lunches and dinners for PADS. Together, let's spread light and love by making meals for those in need and serving this important local cause.

This event is designed for attendees ages 12+. Space is limited; We ask that you limit your registration to two members per family/household. Service hours will be recorded upon request.

The Makerplace kitchen is not a nut-free, gluten-free, or other allergy free environment.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation, please call 847.392.0100, text 847.665.1491 or email us at accessibility@ahml.info
