Event Description

Please join us to view the Sundance award-winning documentary film, How to Die in Oregon which explores the state's historic and controversial Death with Dignity Act, which legalizes physician aid-in-dying for some terminally ill patients (Not rated, 107 minutes). Following the film, Amy Sherman of Compassion & Choices, and member of the Illinois End of Life Options Coalition, will lead a brief discussion and share information about work being done to bring aid in dying in Illinois.
