NOTES

A test of faith in one's own dreams. When a hopeless traveler finds a hidden village like the one that appeared in his dreams, a single person is waiting patiently. They claim to have the answers he seeks, but these are not for free. A wish for a wish. The eerie emptiness, the lack of human life, the unexplained anomalies; none of it feels important next to his life-long curiosity. To help himself, he has first to help others...even if they don't want to show themselves at first. Since he has no faith, he needs to awaken the faith of his neighbors. And when he does, he may discover that he has had his answers all along. A clash between the factual and the spiritual; a small journey through time and the limits of humanity, starting from a single obsessive dream that may lead to uncovering one's true identity. This was, in fact, a persistent dream of mine. The village was different...but maybe that is not a matter of space, but time. I was not brave enough to find out if the present was the right time; after all, as a mere human, I could not run from it. I was not brave enough, so I wrote about someone who was.
