Book & Media Donations

Book donations  

Donations are currently only accepted at the main library building. The collection box is located inside the core entrance to the left of the stairs. The Friends of the Library are accepting book and media donations at the following times:

Monday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
Wednesday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

For donations by appointment, please call the Friends at 847-506-2663 and leave a message. Appointments are recommended for larger donations or alternate times.

The Arlington Heights Senior Center location is not able to accept donations.

Gifts to the Library

A gift to the library is a unique way to honor a special occasion or a cherished memory. It celebrates a person or event, and it benefits the entire community. Monetary contributions are tax deductible and a statement for tax purposes will be sent. For more information about making a gift to the library, call 847-506-2636 or

The Arlington Heights Memorial Library Foundation (the Foundation) also provides funds to help sustain our library. The Foundation is a nonprofit, tax exempt organization that provides support to the library in its quest to reach and serve all members of our community.
