New Bookmobile Makes Its Debut
The new bookmobile will be serving the community at its regular stops starting on September 1, 2026.
New Features Include:
- More space inside and an improved, fully usable lift, making the bookmobile more welcoming and accessible to all members of the community
- Modular shelving that allows staff to reconfigure the bookmobile for different collections, programs and community needs
- Exterior monitor for library promotions and interactive experiences
- Electric awning for those sunny days engaging with the community at outreach events
The new bookmobile was funded in part by generous private and corporate donors including the Arlington Heights Memorial Library Foundation and the Friends of the Library.
