Detective Kids is about Jake Conway and Kevin Broxporch, two 10 year olds who solve mysteries that take them throughout the world, as they work with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies. The series is filled with real world situations and international intrigue, making use of modern crime fighting techniques and technology. The thing I personally find interesting about the series is that the books grow in maturity as the series progresses. The first book was written from the perspective of a ten year old, as I grew, so did the series. I have been told that this is a good thing as it gives the reader a chance to grow not only with the story, but with the author
