On April 17, 2000, the world discovered that there were individuals with powers and abilities beyond normal people. As a result of that discovery, Los Angeles was destroyed, leaving only a crater twenty miles mile. Fifteen years later, a new city is growing in that crater under a crimson energy shield, acting as a safe haven from these Paranormals.
