The War Around Us tells the absorbing true story of the only two international journalists on the ground in Gaza during Israeĺs bombardment and invasion of the troubled Palestinian territory over a three-week period in 2008-9. Award-winning filmmaker Abdallah Omeish (Occupation 101) chronicles the experiences of Al Jazeerás Cairo-born, Arab-American Ayman Mohyeldin and Arab-British Sherine Tadros as they report from Gaza City throughout the devastating assault.
