I wrote this book in dedication to my mother Gabriela Remedia Lobos, who had been steadfast in her principle of dedication to her husband and her children. Particularly in those turbulent years during the Second World War, from1941 to 1945, when her husband was detained by the Japanese because of his involvement in the underground in the State of North Borneo in 1943, she was confronted with an uphill task of defending her faithfulness to the man that she had married
