NOTES

I don't write a lot of short stories. It can be said, short stories in this collection are stories that I consider to be successful. I write to them with satisfaction. The "success" I mean is not just a success published in the media or won an award, but also the success of producing the creativity and sharpening the writing skills that I am trying to make. Maybe the techniques that I used are not new techniques, but I have considered the success of applying these techniques as a success in itself. The desire to collect written works have actually been hidden for a long time. However, a strong motivation only emerged when some of the short stories published here were chosen as nominees for short stories by qualified writers in Indonesia such as Afrizal Malna and Oka Rusmini. I am truly grateful because thanks to the judges of Siwa Nataraja Award 2, I became excited about publishing short stories. It is no exaggeration that I place 7 short stories which are the manuscripts of the council's choice as the first 7 short stories of this book. While the short story of the Kesaksian was the winner of the short story competition held by InterSastra and several other short stories included in the joint anthology. I do not forget to thank all those who helped realize this book. It can be said, short stories in this collection are stories that I consider to be successful. I write them with satisfaction.
