The water in a small creek mysteriously disappears, and the frogs living there must consider abandoning their home to survive. There are rumors of strange happenings occurring upstream involving toads. In a desperate attempt to save their pond, three frogs journey up the dry creek to investigate. A humorous turn of events enables the tiny frog, Wart, to accompany the three volunteers. Often overlooked and never taken seriously, Wart finds the courage to face enemies, capture a traitor, and dare to travel the road rumored to be haunted by a legendary beast. Throughout the journey, Wart learns that boasting and "looking for trouble" are not true marks of courage
