Thanks to technology, imagination is dying-and with it the world of imaginary friends, Figmentia. Forced to leave behind crops of gumdrops, jawbreakers, and chocolate bars, a candy farmer must flee his farm and set out on a quest to find answers before it's too late. Befriended by a temperamental hobgoblin, the pair journey across Figmentia in search of the one who can save them all, but they're running out of time. Dodging Ministry agents and pursued by natives of the nightmare realm, the real threat is unseen. Their world is being swallowed by a dark void, and if they cannot find whom they seek, they will have to face the cold dark of the Great Empty
