NOTES

What is the purpose of Scripture? The answer is to bring us to Christ our Savior. What is the work of God the Holy Spirit? The answer is to guide and show us the truth. How do we interpret Gods Word? The answer is to compare Scripture with Scripture. Unity, how do we achieve it? The answer is to listen as we read what God the Holy Spirit says. How do we learn? The answer is by asking the questions that God gave to all mankind: who, what, where, when, how, and why. So what does our Bible have to say about this? Second Timothy 3:16-17, the Bible is, inspired by God, and 2 Timothy 2:15: "We are to study like a worker to be able to rightly divide the Word of TRUTH." I believe Hebrews 11:6 sums it up: "But without faith it is impossible to please HIM, for he who comes to GOD must believe that HE is, and that HE is a rewarder of those who diligently seek HIM." As you read this book, please do not miss these two points: God decided how He would build His house before He created time, and that our adoption is not speaking of our new birth but rather of our new life, that time in our future when we receive our new spiritual body, this is our inheritance. In His kingdom, we will no longer have sin in us
