Imprisoned for dangerous driving and possession of illegal substances, Jason Buckley is finding it difficult to adjust to life outside prison after his release. Bereaved by the recent loss of his mother, Jason had lost control of his car and hit a young boy, killing him instantly. To make matters worse, his lifelong ne'er do well friend, Joe, had hidden a kilo of street-ready marijuana in Jason's car for safe keeping. Now, after four years in jail, Jason is trying to stay anonymous as he accumulates cash in case the owners of the marijuana come looking for money to cover its loss, but he remains haunted by the memory of the accident.
