NOTES

Intriguing, captivating, enlightening, explosive, alarming, disturbing, inviting, embarrassing, disheartening, slanderous, scandalous, harmful, dangerous, and funny. When was the last time you heard a book described this way? Kind of makes you want to read it, now doesn't it? Some are advising me very strongly to edit it. Too much truth, too real, too raw, too much information. I counter with that's what makes people unable to put it down, they can get sterilized versions of the truth anywhere. I don't sterilize much of anything. If it's real, if it's truthful, I tell it - let the chips fall where they may. I'm told I will lose people with the honesty of this book. I reply, "I know, those aren't my people" It's my story, it is funny, it is sad, it is embarrassing at times, and frightening at others. It's also triumphant, and it's an inspiration. And that's just book one: The Jungle. Included in this volume is the second book I wrote about my life called Serial Entrepreneur. Together both books tell the story of my going to prison at 18 for a crime that I did not commit. The journey of the 11 years I served, what life was like when I got out, and the path I had to forge as I was not like anyone else, nor was my path. This is a story of inspiration, laughter, triumph, and my lifelong 'Pursuit of Freedom'
