Christy, Katy and John and the Time Machine are a series of stories which the author told his children when they were little. The stories range throughout history from visits to the dinosaurs to more recent covered wagon adventures. Now that the authors kids have kids of their own, he felt it was time to bring the time machine 'back to the future' and share its adventures with a new generation.
