It shows some very early systems, up to the most recent. It is a compilation of materials, equipment, and design of these systems. The book is largely written around modern ash handling systems and equipment. It is for engineers and plant managers to make improvements to existing systems. I, Howard G. Lownes Sr., wrote this book after spending over thirty years, designing equipment and systems, as well as evaluating problems in the field and making recommendations for upgrading equipment and systems to improve the efficiency of systems
