Hi, my name is Valentine.Well, it's Valentine Maria Sofie Brooke… the First. Now, my life isn't exactly what you would call normal. I live in a palace out in the middle of nowhere. It's a great place to be in. But, it gets lonely at times. I come from a long line of royalty. My dad's a king and he is also the deadliest creature on the face of the Earth. Overall, he's a pretty nice guy, though. Some people say that I am a pretty girl. I don't really think that's true. I think they just say that because I am a princess. So, they are forced to be nice to me or else my dad will eat them. I am about 14… hundred years old. It's a good thing I really look 14. Yes, I am really that old. I know I've been around for a while. Yet, it doesn't really seem like it's been that long. I mean, I've never left the palace. Even when I go outside, I have to be escorted by one of my dad's guards. He's afraid that humans might find out who I really am and hurt me. My dad really hates humans. It started long before I was born. The humans back then learned of who my family really was. The humans were so afraid that they decided to get together and kill my dad and his family. They really didn't do much, but they were able to kill my dad's youngest brother
