Getting home is only half the battle Vincent Tate is at work when the power goes off and he thinks nothing of it. Then buildings start collapsing he realises that something terrible has happened. His wife and children are at home in the village, more than twenty-miles away. As he attempts to get back to his family it is the people he meets along the way who are the greatest threat.
