On finding a planet, they begin to scan the new planet from the outer atmosphere using a special probe unit called the "D S P S U 1" (Deep Space Planet Scanning Unit). when the scanning began the scanner unit stopped in its tracks and turned off course. Realizing the unit had changed course the ground crew discovers it found an object floating in the outer orbit of the planet, the scanner unit, programmed to stop and investigate any unusual object's it encounters, began to investigate the object sending back images and data to Earth. Scientists begin the process of investigation, to discover where the object came from what it is doing there and how it got there?
