"There are two certain things in this life; taxes and death." - Benjamin Franklin While this may sound like any other famous quote, it is very true and practical. However, as certain as taxes may be, we will not focus on that in this book. Instead, we'll explore this dark and distasteful topic that everyone prefers to avoid: Death represented as the Grim Reaper! According to scientists, death occurs in all living organisms at some point and is the complete end of life mechanism. Unfortunately, this definition isn't very descriptive. To answer such questions, artists in the 14th century came up with the concept of the grim reaper to try and understand death better by giving it a face.
