A graduate of Wheaton College (IL) with an MBA from the University of Maryland, she has also served as president of the CIDRZ Foundation, SVP at World Relief, and publisher of Religion News Service, and has been a syndicated columnist. She and her husband are the parents of two grown sons and have two grandchildren. They live in Annapolis, MD
