Have you ever had a person who would give you what they want, even when they clearly know that you want something else? They ignore your wishes and constantly persist in giving you what they think would make you happy, no matter the price. But what really makes you happy doesn't cost much, if anything. However, the gift giver still insists on giving you something that you don't want, something that doesn't make you happy. And you just respectfully say, 'Thanks, you shouldn't have.' Well, 'Yarn' is about two kittens who ONLY loved YARN. They didn't need expensive gifts to please them. The kittens, Bonita and Mister C., were really easy to keep happy. You didn't have to go out of your way to please them. Yarn was all they wanted. Just a simple piece of string would get them super excited. And we'll soon come to learn that you can't buy their love or impress them with shiny gifts. They would Yawn if it wasn't YARN
