There were three tumors, each one inside the other, but an amazing sign gave us confidence that the Lord's hand was guiding our lives. Two elderly mutritionists had given a wonderful healing retreat which laid the foundation. Then followed an agonizing spring and summer with a failed house sale and a decision to proceed with a call to seminary that we barely understood, but God was fully in charge as we soon realized. This work is centered on and driven by our histories and our story, but it is offered with the realization that matters of illness, vocation, purpose and relationship are common to the human condition. We hope that this book may bring insight, hope and encouragement to its readers
