NOTES

Gary Richardson is a graduate student in physics who is on the spectrum and has a history of mental disorders. Cherie Chandler is an undergraduate theater major taking time off from school to be an intern on the 'Superstar' television talent show. When Gary auditions as a magician on the show, Cherie sees the discrepancy between his unbelievable tricks and his absolute lack of communication skills and stage presence. He needs help and she needs something on which to focus her talents. Together, they work their way through the talent show against Jim Harriman, another magician who will stop at nothing to win. But there is something else happening. An anomaly has appeared within Gary's research and within his perception of reality. Is he really seeing what appears right in front of him, or is he losing his mind?
