Carlita and Mercedes Garlucci have settled into their new life in Savannah and are eager to get their rental units occupied as well as their other businesses up and running, but the local permit officials are dragging their feet with delay after delay. When Mercedes decides to help move things along by organizing a protest for justice in front of the local government offices, things go from bad to worse as one by one, all of the protesters become targets of vandals. After the vandals ramp up the attacks, the mother and daughter duo vow to fight back despite having their hands full with an obnoxious tenant who could quite possibly cause Carlita to commit a crime of her own! Will they discover who's behind the attacks and stop them before someone gets hurt or will their dreams in Savannah become the stuff nightmares are made of?
