Sometimes when it's dark we gotta light shit up!! The most important job we will ever have in this world, no matter what our successes and failures are, is to love ourselves with the same intensity we do others. You know the way we show patience and understanding and give forgiveness, help, and so many chances, to everyone else but ourselves. If we make a mistake, we rake ourselves over the proverbial coals, never giving ourselves the same compassion, love, time or forgiveness. Loving ourselves allows us to give and receive love, real love, a healthy love. Love is not only a noun, adverb, and an adjective, but most importantly a verb, an action verb, a living breathing thing that starts with us. We can't give or even offer something we don't already possess ourselves. So go get you something to sip on, smoke on, a blanket, and a quiet spot to chill and read about my journey to how I learned to love myself unapologetically
