On the planet Tortuga, the owner of the bar, Condo Martin, has apparently died. As pirates from around the sector come to pay their respects Condo's nephew, CC arrives with his mothers remains and takes over the bar. While CC is learning the ropes, Meserplunkt and Griff learn of another legendary treasure on a planet that is accessible only when two ships act in tandem.The two pirates agree to find the treasure together after it is discovered that the body in the coffin is Condo's twin. Condo goes with them, and as the two ships land on the surface another pirate ship that tried to follow them crashes in the deep chasm they have landed next to.A small group of the pirates go down into the chasm where they find a Midas fountain while the rest of the crews defend the ships against Amazon women natives that are intent on taking the men on the ships prisoners.Meanwhile CC must find a way to warn Meserplunk and Griff that there are more pirates waiting to ambush them, if they can get off the surface with the treasure
