Our team has over 60 years experience teaching English as a foreign language. Reading, unfortunately, is often overlooked or seen as a secondary activity when learning a new language. Through this series of books we hope to encourage students to read actively and prepare themselves for reading exercises/exams they may face in the future.In this book there are 30 passages with complementary reading comprehension questions. The texts have been chosen to reflect a wide range of vocabulary and grammar that a typical A1 student will face.We ensure that our books are suitable for the level indicated through peer review and all texts are also checked using the Flesch Reading Ease Scale. We also use the LancsLex tool which enables us to use target specific vocabulary based on the most commonly used words in English.If you like reading then this book is a great way to learn.
