Welcome to the 1000's! ABSALOM lived around 1025 AD and this A Biblical Historical Fiction Novel is based on the son of King David, Absalom, brother to Solomon and the instigator of a major coup against his father, the King. This story is related in the Bible in 2nd Samuel Chapters 13 through 19m also 14v25. He is said to have been quite handsome, and vain-enough so to weigh his own hair in a special ceremony at the end of each year. He also had quite a team to pull his chariot and 50 men to run before him as bodyguards and for show. Absalom was a Prince of Jerusalem/Judea and acted like the spoiled-brat that he was. Only to have his own vanity and ego wrap up his very short reign. ABSALOM the Novel is meant to bring his personality and ego alive, and show what it may have been like in the courts of the King(s). ABSALOM is a quick scamper though history and the strange co-incidences and quirks that happened along the way of his short life. I hope this historical novel intrigues you and entertains you at the cost of someone elses mistakes
