Raymond Civic is an ordinary teenager...until the day his senior class takes a field trip to a plastic factory. After a seemingly impossible incident takes place during a tour, Ray soon realizes that he can control plastic with his mind, but only plastic made at that factory. As he gradually discovers all of the things he can do with this power, Ray decides to use his gift for the common good and becomes Acrylic. While trying to help people with his superpower, his reckless pride gets him into trouble-way over his head. He makes an enemy of a powerful man who doesn't play by the same set of rules. Can Acrylic defeat his opponent without compromising his morals...or will he give into the temptation of fighting fire with fire?
