In 2263 London, Ken Harper starts hearing ominous voices foreshadowing his death. Soon after, he is transported to a bizarre realm where Zeus and Athena of Greek mythology inform him of his true destiny: to save the alien Ferenti species from extinction. Guided by former New Zealand Prime Minister Mary Wells, now leader of the post-apocalyptic New Parliament, Ken learns that the Ferenti are losing their mental faculties due to an indefinable plight. His mission is to unite the warring Ferenti factions, including the malevolent Wyeth Pierce. Wyeth, however, kidnaps Ken's loved ones and hides them using an otherworldly power. With the help of a newfound ally, Ken must penetrate Pierce's defenses, free his loved ones, and discover an unexpected solution to the Ferenti's crisis. The stakes are high as the fate of an entire species depends on Ken's actions
