They were on the verge of discovering a breakthrough means of interstellar travel-until disaster struck. Thrown into two very different alternate realities, the pair now find themselves lost and longing; struggling to recreate the results of their research, but for very different reasons. While Zandra is driven to save the population of a dying world, Alex finds himself forced by a maniacal leader to use his Quantum Triangle technology as a doomsday weapon.
