After a bad day at work, accountant Dave Smith has one too many at the bar. A seemingly normal traffic stop later that evening rips him away from his wife and kids and into servitude. Dave is swallowed up by Megacorp Greenrock Solutions' newest business venture. Greenrock's band of genetically enhanced humans-nicknamed furries-are violent and beastly, brutal and efficient assassins. Their greatest strength is invisible to their bosses, however. They share thoughts and feelings that allow them to function as a collective, building up strength with each new mind that is added. Strength they'll need to free themselves from their corporate enslavers. Dave, an average guy and part-time smart aleck, is brought into this world of violence and greed. To protect his family, he must accept his fate, while secretly working to free himself and his fellow band of captive assassins. Unknown to Dave, there are people in law enforcement investigating Greenrock's misdoings and starting to close in. The leaders at Greenrock and their political backers won't go down easily, though. Their beastly assassins are just too profitable
