NOTES

One Step at a Time, Memoirs of a Former Quadriplegic, is the story my life from 1949 through 2024, with particular emphasis upon a series of devastating events that took place between the years 2001 and 2004. Within 24 months from August 7, 2001, I was left quadriplegic from a home accident with a prognosis of a 10% chance of ever walking again, laid off from my job with a major bank, and divorced by my wife of 30 years. The memoir chronicles my rocky journey in life from agnosticism towards a deeper spiritual understanding of the mind-body connection, and how through these truths miracles can be achieved. While ostensibly the story of one person's journey through life's trials and tribulations, in reality it is a lesson-book containing a series of powerful messages that everyone can employ. By weaving annotated scientific principles with religious and spirituality beliefs for millennia, the interconnectedness between them is shown and the power each person has to manifest his or her own destiny revealed. This "secret science behind miracles" has profound implications on our health and happiness
