Drought has come to Turramore. Mikaela and Thomas are forced to leave the farm and move to the city so that Thomas can find work. But it is not an easy decision and when they arrive in Melbourne, trials come at them from every direction. Thomas encounters a difficult boss and Mikaela discovers that her brother is struggling with his own dark nightmare.
