Baboon on My Back depicts a child's alarming discovery and fight against cancer. Having to combat cancer is bad enough when you're grown, but ever more troubling when you find you must battle cancer as a child. This diagnosis conjures up fear, despair, and frustration, to say the least. Sadly, 1 in 285 kids will learn that they have cancer, by the time they turn 20. What becomes quickly realized is that it takes a team of specialized professionals and lots of loving support from family and friends to chase off this scary, baboon. Stemming from experience, this story hopes to encourage those who fight to be, rid of this dreadful disease
