NOTES

Forty something women, Tamara, Rita, Lisa and Melissa, former high school friends decide to meet up at a swanky martini lounge in Chicago's South Loop. Rita excuses herself from the table and doesn't return, leaving the other girl's to find out what happened to her. What they soon discover is a situation that places one or more of them in serious danger. The pilot in a series of short stories, titled, "Girl's Night". Storytelling is in my DNA. Having been a closet writer for many years, I favor short fiction and that's primarily what I write. Just published, 'The Lip' and soon to come is, 'Living Right' and my short story series, 'Girl's Night' and 'Romance Imperfect'. I love writing about contemporary life in an urban setting, about things that impact us emotionally whether it be love, family or crime. I was born and raised in Chicago which is where I live now, but have lived in New York City and Boston. Find out more about me and what inspires me to write the stories I write on my blog at: Romance meets mystery and martinis mix with murder when former high school friends, Tamara, Rita, Melissa and Lisa inexplicably find themselves involved in one dangerous situation after another. This short story/novella series is based on author Franchot's stand alone short story "Girl's Night"
