In the conclusion of Spoon Fed, a severely ailing Warren confesses to Melissa that he's married to Tatum, the young, opportunistic beauty Melissa had already suspected; Warren also confides that he believes Tatum poisoned him, and then he collapses dead on Melissa's floor. Devastated and distraught, but determined to avenge Warren's murder, Melissa enlists the help of the girls and the eccentric private detective Alvin Bailey to trap Tatum and bring her to justice, but an unexpected disruption spirals out of control and places the life of one of the girls in serious danger. Storytelling is in my DNA. Having been a closet writer for many years, I favor short fiction and that's primarily what I write. I love writing about contemporary life in an urban setting, about things that impact us emotionally whether it be love, family or crime.
